Are you looking for an opportunity to begin a reward career in Care?
Are you looking for a rewarding, challenging and flexible role?
At The Gables, we are looking for friendly, compassionate and hard-working people to join us as permanent Bank Support Workers. As a Bank Support Worker, no two weeks are the same, and this is an excellent opportunity for people who can be flexible and motivated to support our home.
We are situated on Cleator Moor Road, Whitehaven, and The Gables is a newly built care home that provides a safe, secure and comfortable environment to those who are physically frail, highly dependent and people with Dementia.
As a Bank Support Worker, you will have an incredibly important role in our home; one where you will get to know our residents individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care.
Other duties include administering medication, providing personal care and encouraging users to achieve a certain level of independence through activities and guidance, whilst ensuring that needs are met with dignity and respect.
The ideal candidates will be kind, caring, and eager about looking after our resident’s wellbeing. You will also be a real team player and have excellent written and communication skills.
Ideally, you will have experience in a care setting, and preferably have an NVQ2 in Health and Care, but we are happy to support the right candidates through this training.
This is a fantastic opportunity for people looking to begin their career in care, boost their skills and really make a difference to our home and our resident’s lives.
