Salary: £40,221 - £41,418
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
Hours: 37 hours per week, flexible working.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Learning Disability, Autism and Transition Social Work Team in Cumberland Council. We are a lively, creative, and supportive team working with adults who have a learning disability and/or autism.

About the role
As an Enhanced Practitioner, you will assess the needs of people and their carers and ensure the development and delivery of appropriate person centred, self-directed and enabled support to meet the Councils statutory obligations for people who have social care needs.

Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of the principles of The Care Act 2014 and will be skilled in undertaking strength-based, creative, and inclusive assessments, as well as support planning and the effective management of a mixed complexity case load.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults and Young People from age 14 years.
