The Cumberland Safeguarding Hub are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Social Worker to join a service that is passionate about making the right decisions for children and families at the right time.
Cumberland Safeguarding Hub has a responsibility to accurately identify the needs of children, young people and their parents and carers and to ensure that the appropriate services and support are provided at the right time allowing safeguarding outcomes to be achieved.
We want to meet an enthusiastic and creative Social Worker who wants to be part of our experienced multi-agency team working collaboratively and efficiently to make good decisions which keep children safe.
We are looking for a Social Worker who can respond to risk and understand how to prioritise safeguarding and support needs for children. We have high aspirations for our children and high expectations of each other so that we can work together to ensure that children are at the heart of our practice.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults and Children’s Barred List check.
