Salary: 4.15 per hour - 153.55 per week - National Apprenticeship Wage - during first 12 months. (if 19 years old or over, after 12 months your salary will increase to minimum wage for your age)

As an Associate Project Manager Apprentice, you will be working with the Capital Programme Team. The Capital Programme Team constructs and maintains all the council’s highways and property infrastructure. Each year over £100m of projects are delivered by the team on the county’s roads, care homes, schools and council offices. You’ll be embedded in a high performing team, working with them to deliver some exciting projects, gaining practical experience that will perfectly compliment your project management studies.
Projects can be defined and delivered within different contexts, across diverse industry sectors and they can be large or small. Every project needs to be managed to ensure its success. An associate project manager knows what needs to be achieved, how it will be achieved, how long it will take and how much it will cost, and works with the project team to achieve the required outcomes. Associate project managers need good planning, organisation, leadership, management and communication skills.
This is an excellent opportunity that offers a wide range of transferable skills.
This apprenticeship requires that learners are a minimum of 18 years old upon starting the apprenticeship.

Aptitude Assessments and Eligibility Checks will be carried out week commencing 26th October 2020. All applicants must undertake an online aptitude test in order to be considered for the next stage in the recruitment process.
