Salary: 31,895 -32,798
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

We have an exciting opportunitie for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Learning Disability, Autism and Transition Social Work Teams across Cumbria and we welcome applications from experienced candidates looking to develop their career in this field.
We are a lively, creative, and supportive team working with adults who have a learning disability and/or autism and we also work with young people who are in transition from Children’s Services into adulthood.
About the role
You would be working as a part of our friendly and supportive teams, offering great professional benefits with the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills that will enhance the lives of the people we support.
You will undertake person centred social work assessments with individuals and their carers, ensuring the development and delivery of personalised support to meet the Council’s statutory obligation for the protection and support of adults who have social care needs.
Who we are looking for
Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of the principles of The Care Act 2014 and will be skilled in undertaking strength-based, creative, and inclusive assessments, as well as support planning and the effective management of a mixed complexity case load.
