Salary: 38,813 – 39,782
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role
We are seeking to recruit a Social Work Advanced Practitioner who will be based within our Children Services Child Protection Team in the west of the county.
The successful candidate will be an experienced social work practitioner with a considerable amount of relevant experience in managing complex casework, supporting and developing staff including Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSW). They will be able to work independently, working as part of a team, have a proven record of analysing information that has led to appropriate safeguarding decisions being made and an ability to formulate plans quickly whilst under pressure and take on a strategic lead across the district to improve the life changes of children and young people involved with the Directorate. The role will be an integral part of the west district management team.
