Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service are now welcoming applications for a number of current and future substantive Middle and Strategic Manager vacancies.
To be eligible to apply, candidates must:
Station Manager Vacancies:Salary: 39,374 - 43,428
Hold the post of substantive competent Watch Manager or have demonstrated and maintained competency at Watch Manager level in the in the past 12 months.
Group Manager Vacancies:Salary: 45,347 - 50,270
Hold the post of substantive competent Station Manager or have demonstrated and maintained competency at Station Manager level in the past 12 months.
Area Manager Vacancies:53,238 - 58,397
Hold the post of substantive competent Group Manager or have demonstrated and maintained competency at Group Manager level in the past 12 months.
Applications are also invited from existing substantive competent Station, Group and Area Managers who are interested in transferring into Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service and who have the requisite, skills, knowledge and experience to help take the team forward. Particularly from individuals who have Fire Protection, Service Delivery and Operational Training experience.

Based on the current Service retirement profile, it is anticipated there will be a number of additional Middle and Strategic Manager vacancies throughout 2019/20.
