Salary: £32,076 – £33,024 per annum
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
Social Care Worker – Learning Disability, Autism and Transition Team
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motived individual to join the Learning Disability, Autism and Transition Social Work Team in West Cumbria.
We are a lively, creative, and supportive team working with adults who have a learning disability and/or autism. We also work with young people who are in transition from Children’s Services into adulthood.
We would love to hear from individuals who may have transferrable skills, looking to gain experience in this service as a Social Care Worker. You would be working as a part of our friendly and supportive team offering great professional benefits with the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills that will enhance the lives of the people we support.
Becoming a Social Care Worker is an excellent opportunity for those looking to begin their career in Adult Social Care, and the ideal candidate will have awareness of working with vulnerable people in a supportive setting. You will work in ways that promote independence and enable people to maximise their strengths, working with stakeholders for better outcomes.
