Contract: Temporary contact for 12 months
Salary Scale: £32,076 - £33,024 per annum
The advertised salaries includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
About this Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Specialist Domestic Abuse Worker.
In this role you will work closely with partner agencies to identify children at risk of domestic abuse and respond at the earliest opportunity and be a second worker in some cases (not case holder) for children who are victims of domestic abuse. You will lead on the planning of interventions to support the child to reduce risk and stay safe.
You will receive regular supervision and a tailored induction and will join a dedicated and supportive team.

DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults and Children’s Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults and Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Adults and Children.
