Salary: £4.30 per hour - £159.10 per week - National Apprenticeship Wage - during first 12 months. (if 19 years old or over, after 12 months your salary will increase to minimum wage for your age)
Hours: 37 hours per week

Start Date: From September 2021 onwards

We have two exciting opportunities with Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service, with the People, Development and Assurance Team and the Service Support Team.
People, Development and Assurance (PDA) is the Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service team who absolutely commit to providing a framework of recruitment, development and training opportunities for all of our staff. We need a new member of our section who wants to be part of a great team, have an aim to always make things work and also understand how important the Business Administrator role will be in PDA. Being a PDA team member will provide you with skills in many different and exciting areas which will give you with the confidence to take on every opportunity that we will make available to develop you into an important PDA team member.
The Service Support Team provides direct support to a number of key functions within Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service. From purchasing Fire Kit, providing reports for Leadership Team, developing Systems for the Service and to providing support at Gold Command level during exercises - the Service Support Team is where is all happens. We are looking for a new member to join our friendly hard working, highly respected team and we can provide you the opportunity to gain a full range of Business Administration skills. The Team would be with you all the way, nurturing your talents, developing your potential and helping you achieve your ambitions.
Essential Criteria
Please note that your application will be assessed against the Qualifications; Skills and Personal Qualities and Behaviours listed on the Apprenticeship Description. In your application form you must therefore clearly demonstrate:
1 - That you meet all qualification requirements, and
2 - That you have or would develop, the skills, personal qualities and behaviours required of the role and provide examples where possible.

Due to the coronavirus, we are operating virtual interviews.
