Salary Scales: £48,474 - £49,498 per annum
The advertised salaries includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

We are looking for a experienced participation and engagement manager responsible for the ensuring operational engagement programmes are delivered to the highest standards, following best practice in participation and engagement, whilst at all times providing meaningful, developmental and safe opportunities for children and young people aged 0-25 and their parent/carers.
We want someone who is passionate about making a difference for our children and their families. This is a new post which is based within the Children and Family Wellbeing Directorate reporting to the Senior Manager for Early Help and Think Family.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the Participation and Engagement service across children’s services ensuring the voice of our children, young people and families are at the heard of everything we do. The Participation and Engagement manager will provide management to a number of staff withing in the service and direction to all teams across children’s services.
In addition the post holder will have management oversight and co-ordination of the Holiday Activity and Food Programme and lead an effective outreach offer to ensure optimum outcomes for children, young people and families, including work with partners in the universal and targeted services.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults and Children’s Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults and Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with Adults and Children.
