About this opportunity:
Are you ready for an exciting opportunity as a Pay & Reward Assistant at Cumberland Council? If so, we invite you to join us in contributing to our corporate approach to compensation, benefits, and pensions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting strategic initiatives that align with our corporate objectives and Human Resources and Organisational Development (HROD) Plan.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the pay and reward team with the provision of effective advice, guidance and co-ordination. Organising and supporting the pay and grading process. Contributing to the development of HR policies, procedures and guidance. Managing and maintaining the HROD internal and external webpages and managing and maintaining the data, information and records held.
The ideal candidate for this role should have a background in HR, possessing qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent demonstrable experience, along with CIPD membership or equivalent experience. They should also bring expertise in people management.as well as being well organised and have the ability to prioritise their own workload.
