Then a Highways Electrical Maintenance and Installation Operatives Apprenticeship with Cumbria County Council could be for you!
Cumbria County Council has the fourth largest highways network in England and maintains approximately 45,000 street lights and 3,500 illuminated signs. As a Highways Electrical Maintenance and Installation Operative you will be expected to effectively assist with a range of duties connected with the delivery of the Road Lighting Service.
Supporting the area based operations teams with the delivery of street lighting improvement and maintenance works, undertaking routine maintenance activities in accordance with service procedures, periodic electrical inspection and testing, structural inspections and improvements to given timescale.

Aptitude Assessments and Eligibility Checks will take place between 1st and 12th April, 2019. All applicants will be invited to attend on a specific day and must be available to attend on the day specified in order to be considered for the next stage in the recruitment process.
Medical - The successful candidate will be expected to attend a medical in Penrith on a date to be confirmed.
