About this opportunity:
Cumberland Psychology Service provides support to schools and settings in North and West Cumbria, including the Lake District. We are a high performing, friendly team that provides a balance between intellectual challenge, and belonging and camaraderie. We value opportunities to learn together and support each other, working to develop a community of practice through regular peer support. We work flexibly to develop expertise and interests, both as a team and individually.
We have excellent relationships with our schools and provide various models of service delivery, including for example, consultative approaches. The team regularly contribute to whole school and systemic support, including ELSA training and supervision. Current developments include a multi-agency neurodiversity pathway, relational approaches, and a variety of EP led research projects.

DBS:
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Children’s and Adults Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults and Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults and/or Children.
